Worth weighing

3 to weigh
  • Some rooms near the reception can pick up noise — One guest who stayed directly behind the reception reported noise from other guests. The B&B's small layout means reception is close to at least one room.
  • Breakfast can feel limited to some — Most reviews call breakfast generous or satisfying, but one guest found it very limited and another described it as simple, though acceptable by Italian standards.
  • Check-in window ends at 22:00 — Guests need to arrive between 14:00 and 22:00, and check-out is by 10:00. Anyone arriving later would need to plan around this.

“The room was directly behind the reception, so noise from other guests carried through clearly. Breakfast was very limited, too.”

8.8Verified guest

“Breakfast was generous and complete, with ham, yoghurt and cheese. The location was good too, right by Castel Sant'Angelo.”

8.8Verified guest

“The location was marvellous. An alley nearby cuts through between two streets and puts Piazza Navona, the River Tiber and its bridges, the old town, Vatican City, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and many other sights close at hand. The staff were pleasant and incredible throughout.”

8.8Verified guest

“A wonderful location, welcoming staff, clean and cosy rooms, and a great breakfast delivery.”

“Location-wise, it was great.”

“We went on a weekend trip to Rome with my boyfriend's parents. Having been to Rome before, I knew which hotel locations work well for getting to the main sights, and we were absolutely happy with this one. It is right in the centre, close to restaurants and evening spots, a few minutes on foot from the Vatican, and also near Piazza di Spagna and its shopping streets. The rooms looked exactly like the photos online, and room 5 was especially big and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but, for Italian standards, really satisfying. We had a great stay and I would highly recommend it to visitors to Rome.”
